A History of Creativity

Why do people create? Billions of years ago, primordial soup became able to reproduce. Since then, life has competed to out-perform each other to service. The last two million years, we have moved away from that and for the last 50 000 we have had this idea called “Fine Art”. We take what is needed to create ever more abstracted works, and use this technology to tell stories. To look at our own identify and how it relates to our place in the universe. This tipping point led to our need to create more interactive social and scientific tools. These bring us ever closer to the divine, to what we perceive the world to be. We create to move away from biological competition and to move toward individual cooperation.
